What happens in a consultation?
An initial herbal medicine consultation lasts approximately 90 minutes.
We’ll talk through your main health concerns, medical and health history, lifestyle and anything else that may be relevant to your individual situation. I may then use some Ayurvedic or TCM analysis techniques and iridology to further understand your body and how your system is functioning.
From there, I can develop a personalised approach which may include individual herbal formulations, dietary and lifestyle recommendations and other naturopathic support where appropriate.
Follow-up consultations are approximately 45 minutes, giving us time to review how you’re getting on, make adjustments and discuss any changes or developments.
Where I practise
Herb Hive is based just outside Collooney, Co. Sligo, providing herbal medicine and naturopathic consultations in a calm, private setting.
I work with clients from Sligo and the surrounding areas, as well as people who travel to the clinic for consultations. For people from further away repeat prescriptions can be posted and follow ups can be conducted by phone or online. However the initial consultation is required in person.

People come to me with a wide range of health concerns and personal goals. Every consultation is different, and recommendations are tailored to the individual rather than following a standard treatment plan.
