Iridology

Iridology
As part of your consultation, I may use iridology as a complementary observational tool alongside your health history, lifestyle information and other aspects of your consultation.
Iridology involves observing patterns and characteristics of the iris. It is used by some complementary health practitioners as an additional source of information when considering an individual’s overall wellbeing.
Your consultation is focused on understanding your individual needs and supporting your wellbeing through personalised lifestyle and herbal recommendations.
“We are discovering that the eye works two ways; not only does it enable us to bring images of the outside world within, it also
shows images of what is within to the outside” – Dr. Bernard Jensen
Case Taking
Treats the whole person, as an individual, not the disease or the symptom.
We use extensive case taking to get to the root cause of your health imbalance instead of masking symptoms. The body has the ability to heal itself with the right tools.
Naturopathy
We use an holistic approach, providing naturopathic suggestions and lifestyle changes, alongside herbal formula to support and enhance healing.
“Let food be thy medicine” – Hippocrates
Herbal Prescriptions
Western Herbal Medicine has a long tradition in the use of plants as medicine. This comes in various forms including dried herbs, tinctures, decoctions, syrups, oxymels, flower essences and essential oils. Topical substrates include gels, poultices, creams, salves, balms, flower essences and oils.
As a qualified herbalist I am trained in the chemical constituents of herbal medicines to insure there are no contraindications. Herbal prescriptions are sourced from ethical sources and organic where possible.
