Herb Hive provides personalised herbal medicine consultations, naturopathic support and individually tailored herbal preparations. Each consultation is focused on understanding your individual needs and creating a practical, personalised approach to your wellbeing.

What happens in a consultation?

Your initial consultation gives us time to discuss your main concerns, health history, lifestyle and what you would like support with.

2. We assess

I use my training in herbal medicine and naturopathy to build an individual understanding of your needs. Where appropriate, additional assessment methods may be used.

3. Your personalised plan

We develop a practical, individualised approach, which may include personalised herbal preparations and recommendations suited to you.

Every consultation is individual. I take time to understand your concerns, priorities, health history and lifestyle rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. My approach considers the individual as a whole, including constitution, lifestyle and the factors that may be contributing to your concerns.

Individual Herbal Preparations

Where appropriate, I prepare personalised herbal formulations based on your individual consultation. Your preparation can be made specifically for you at the dispensary at Herb Hive rather than relying solely on standard off-the-shelf products.

A local Sligo Clinic

Herb Hive is based in Carrigeensallagh, Collooney, Co. Sligo, providing consultations for clients locally and from the surrounding area. For clients travelling from further afield, follow-up consultations may be available online, with repeat herbal preparations posted where appropriate.

Meet Mary Jane

A Sligo native, I left the medical device industry in 2023 after completing my Diplomas in Herbal Medicine and Naturopathy. I founded Herb Hive to provide personalised herbal medicine consultations and individually prepared herbal remedies in a welcoming clinical setting.

Alongside consultations, I also facilitate herbal education through foraging walks and practical days where participants can learn about making their own herbal preparations.
